Wirewalker development has proceeded regularly in the last months, so it is time to share some updates
on the game development progress. First of all, some work has been done on the graphic engine to improve the rendering. There are
now more light effects, more polished wires and the maps are also being updated with more decorative graphical elements. Check out
the new screenshots here and some comparisons here. Among the new screenshots you can notice there is a preview of the campaign world map,
where the player can select the maps, explore the Wirewalker lore and upgrade the main character powers. The campaign is in full development
and should count at least 50 maps scattered across five realms. It can be played in 3 different difficulty levels. Check out
the coverage on the Steam store
to find out more about the recent additions and improvements.
The early access release expected in 2023 has been postponed and thoughts are ongoing on whether there will ever
be one at all before the full game release. This is not to say that the game is at an impasse, but it could use a more mature implementation before
an official release. Since the September playtest release, the game has been relentlessly updated and improved. The feedback received from
the players has been fully addressed in the current game status and in the future new playtest releases will be made available to assess
the progress made.

This creation takes form in a glittering yellow grid of energy that encloses blue-ish tiles.
In the Creepy Electric dimension often the correct planning and sequence of actions reward the player and
are needed to progress across locations. While platforming and action readiness are still part
of the exploration, the Master ruling this dimension has taken much pleasure in setting up cunning tricks
to make this world unattainable.
A vibrating electric wire field of energy gives life to this wired dimension.
Beyond the blue wavy landscape appearance a lot of insidious traps await the Wirewalker due to
the creator's mastery in crafting deceitful environments and illusions. The Master overseeing this
world is the only one to have found a way to display wire terrains without the power of fragments.
The scintillating green wires of this dimension wrap black techy tiles whose arrangement
is functional to the only skill required to conquer the maps: speed
The creation of the Master isn't anything to contemplate in awe or bewilderment, and
reaching the next stage is mostly a matter of reckless speed and timing mastering.
